1. Nature of the Platform

NeedSkinRate is an online store that sells digital cosmetic items (CS2 skins) directly to end-users. We are not a marketplace and do not provide third-party listing, consignment, or user-to-user trading functionality. All items sold on the Platform are our property or are legally sourced for direct resale.
Purchases are processed automatically, and digital items are delivered to your specified game account via a secure and verified delivery method. All sales are final once delivery is completed, unless otherwise stated in these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years old.

3. Prohibited & Fraudulent Activities (Visa/MC requirement)

You must not use the Platform for any illegal, abusive, or fraudulent purpose. Prohibited activities include, without limitation:

• Use of stolen or unauthorized payment instruments; payment fraud; refund abuse; chargeback abuse;
• Attempts to obtain items without payment, manipulate prices, or interfere with delivery systems or account verification;
• Money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or activity that violates applicable laws or platform rules (including Valve/Steam policies);
• Attempts to bypass security controls, create multiple accounts for abusive behavior, or resell purchased digital items in violation of third-party terms.

We may refuse service, cancel orders, suspend or terminate accounts, reverse delivery where feasible, and report suspicious transactions to payment partners and/or law enforcement. We reserve the right to request additional verification (e.g., identity or ownership of the Steam account) and to block transactions at our discretion.

4. Products & Pricing

All items displayed on NeedSkinRate are virtual cosmetic assets for the game Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). These are non-functional items used purely for in-game visual customization and do not provide competitive advantage.
Prices are listed in your selected currency and include applicable taxes, where required. We may update product listings, availability, and pricing at any time without prior notice.

5. Delivery of Digital Goods

Upon successful payment, items are delivered to your linked CS2 account via the Steam trade offer system.
Delivery is typically completed within minutes, but may take up to 24 hours in rare cases due to platform limitations or manual verification.
It is your responsibility to ensure your Steam trade URL and inventory settings allow receipt of the item.
Once the item is delivered, ownership is transferred and the product is considered fulfilled.

6. Refunds & Returns Policy (with processing timelines)

As per UK consumer law and due to the nature of non-reversible digital items, all sales are final once delivery is completed.

Refunds are only provided in the following cases:

• The product was not delivered due to a technical failure on our side;
• You were charged incorrectly due to a system error;
• A duplicate payment was made in error.

How to request a refund: email support@needskinrate.com within 48 hours of the transaction and include order ID, payment reference, and a brief description.

Processing timelines:

• We acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
• We investigate and decide within 5 business days of receiving all necessary information.
• If approved, we initiate the refund to the original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank/card issuer may take an additional 5–10 business days to post funds to your account.
• Refunds are issued only to the original payment method. We do not cover currency conversion differences or fees charged by your bank.

We do not offer refunds for: change of mind; buyer error (e.g., incorrect account or trade URL); decisions made after successful delivery.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you believe a transaction is unauthorized or erroneous, please contact us first at support@needskinrate.com so we can investigate quickly. If you initiate a chargeback, we may provide evidence of delivery and account logs to the payment provider and may suspend your account during the investigation. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

8. User Accounts & Security

Account creation is optional but recommended for order tracking and faster checkout. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or suspicious activity. We may suspend accounts if fraudulent behavior is suspected.

9. Limitation of Liability

NEEDRATE LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our digital products. Our total liability is limited to the value of your individual transaction. We do not guarantee compatibility with third-party accounts, systems, or custom software. All items are cosmetic and hold no monetary or strategic value outside the game; we do not provide investment advice, resale guarantees, or future price expectations.

10. Legal Compliance

We operate in compliance with UK and EU laws related to digital product sales. We do not: facilitate gambling/betting; offer peer-to-peer or escrow services; accept returns of used digital goods. Payments are processed by reputable, licensed providers. We perform due diligence and anti-fraud measures to ensure safe operation.

11. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, game names, and in-game assets mentioned are the property of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation or any game publisher. Our services are limited to digital cosmetic reselling for personal entertainment use.

12. Amendments
